April 4 - 6, 2008 - Aurora spent the weekend at Boston Children's Hospital having her hernia repaired. In the first and third photos, you can see the splint attaching her IV to her left foot.




April 11 - 13, 2008 - Aurora took her first road trip out of Massachusetts. We drove down to NY for the weekend. Kathy and Jon went to the Walnut Hill Gala at Carnegie Hall Friday night while Wai Pao and Wai Gung babysat.




April 15, 2008 - A sign of how much Jon loves Aurora...he tries to get up early and play with her before he goes in to work in the mornings!




April 19, 2007 - Aurora watched as her Daddy did some yardwork.




April 21, 2008 - Jon had off for Partriot's Day so we all walked down to Commonwealth Avenue to see the Boston Marathon that afternoon. At first, Aurora was scared by the noise of the crowds, but after Jon took her out of the stroller and tucked her into the Moby wrap, Aurora seemed to settle down, snuggling herself into his chest.




April 24, 2008 - That afternoon, Kathy and Aurora went outside for a few minutes to enjoy the sunny and warm weather.



That night, Jon and Kathy hosted a Passover Potluck fairwell dinner for Molly. Here Molly is helping Jon feed Aurora.




April 27, 2008 - Jon and Kathy had some time at home with Aurora.



That afternoon, Uncle Anthony stopped by for a few hours to help Jon clean up the basement.



These were taken after Jon gave Aurora a bath that evening.




April 28, 2008 - After Jon got home from work at 7pm, he got to play with Aurora for a bit before feeding her and putting her to bed.




April 29, 2008 - Aurora is awake more often now and she always has a very alert period each morning.



That evening, Jon was excited to see the Aurora has already started to earn her keep. Here she is holding her first check!




April 30, 2008 - Jon and Aurora spend some quality time together in the morning. We have started to notice that she clearly follows us and recognizes our faces (and voices) now.



After Jon left for work, Aurora started playing to the camera. Kathy captured many of Aurora's newest expressions.
