February was marked by several special occasions: Super Bowl Sunday, Wai Pao and Wai Gung's visit, the annual Cornell-Harvard hockey game, and Aurora taking her first steps a week before her birthday!

February 1, 2009: We went to the annual Vargus-Korka Superbowl Party.

February 8, 2009: Wai Pao and Wai Gung are here for the weekend! Can you guess what Aurora is up to this morning?

Wai Pao and Wai Gung brought Aurora's birthday presents with them, and Aurora got one of her gifts a few weeks early!

While Baba worked on putting the rocking horse together, Wai Pao changed Aurora (in more than one way).

Wai Pao's nose goes "beep" too! Aurora often hangs into her nose while sucking her thumb... perhaps she's worried about losing it?

I'm so excited Wai Gung is here to play with me!

Aurora tries out the rolling part of her horse. Her legs are a little too short right now.

Baba finally gets the whole thing put together...and Aurora is off!

After Wai Pao and Wai Gung leave, Aurora helps clean up the kitchen.

February 14, 2009: Valentine's Day. It's a perfect day to read "Little Bee"!

Wait! What's this? A present from Grandma Zalesky?

That evening, the whole family went to Cambridge for the Cornell-Harvard hockey game. Aurora enjoyed watching the players skate back and forth - she was really following the action! Aurora got so into it, that she even stood up, like a true Cornell hockey fan!

Hey Aurora! Who's number 1?

February 15, 2009: Aurora never tires of playing peek-a-boo and she is constantly finding new ways to play it.

Aurora can be very helpful...here she is unpacking some groceries for Mama.

February 21, 2009: Aurora enjoys some cottage cheese for breakfast.

What? Do I have something on my face?

Trying out the playspace in the Atrium Mall.

February 22, 2009: Aurora and Baba

February 26, 2009: Aurora tries veggie lasagne for the first time...and it's a hit! (check out her 4 front teeth)

February 28, 2009: Aurora took her first steps a week ago, but here she is practicing some more (while eating a wagon wheel).
