November brought some cooler weather, more leaves to rake, a walk in Arnold Arboretum, Thanksgiving
with the Oziers, and a weekend in New York.
November 1, 2009: It is getting dark earlier and earlier. Aurora comes out in the late
afternoon to help Mama finish up raking the leaves.
November 5, 2009: Aurora has yet to realize that sometimes you can have too much of
a good thing!
November 7, 2009: We sepnt most of the morning at home, then met up with Amy, George, and
Greer at the library for Mother Goose on the Loose.
November 8, 2009: We met up with Uncle Anthony for a walk through the Arnold Arboretum
that afternoon. We walked up to the top of one of the hills (but not the highest point),
where we were able to enjoy sunset views of Boston.

On the way out, Anthony stops to determine what kind of tree this is. We all
loved the deep golden leaves it had!
November 10, 2009: Aurora is getting ready for a fight - she has her war paint on
and weapon (rubber band) ready! All Kathy has to say is thank goodness for washable markers!
November 11, 2009: How civilized! Aurora and Baba share a brownie and art together in the evening.
November 12, 2009: This package came for you Mama! I can help you open it too!
November 15, 2009: Peek-a-boo is still a favorite game.

Can you tell Aurora had something with cream cheese and blackberries for breakfast?
November 24, 2009: Aurora has a milk mustache!
November 26, 2009: Happy Thanksgiving! We spent the afternoon and early evening
with the Ozier branch of the family. After a wonderful meal, folks got down to
the business of playing Beatles Rock Band.
Video games don't hold Aurora's attention for long (sorry Jon!), so Linda and
Aurora played in Linda's new yoga studio. Aurora loved it!
November 27, 2009: After Thanksgiving, we spent the weekend in NY. Wai Poa got
Aurora her own vacuum cleaner, which Aurora enjoyed pushing around the house. Too
bad she is still nervous with the real thing!
November 29, 2009: We spent some time at the Yorktown town track and playground. While
Wai Poa and Wai Gong took their usual walk on the track, Kathy, Jon and Aurora played.
Slides are still one of Aurora's favorite things at the playground. She's pretty fearless, even
going down the "big kid" slides by herself!

After playing, we even took a turn around the track. Aurora walked almost the whole quarter
mile around by herself!
Back to the playground, where Aurora finds a tennis ball. Jon and Wai Poa teach her new games
to play.
Video: Gooo-al!

Back at the house, Aurora plays a concert for us on the piano.

Aurora fell fast asleep within 5 minutes of getting into the car! Wai Poa and Wai Gong sure
know how to tire a kid out!
Back at home, Aurora helps Mama prep the green beans for dinner that night.
